Razer Expands Sanrio Lineup With Pompompurin Edition Wireless Headset
Razer is expanding its Sanrio gaming collection with the Kraken Kitty V2 BT Pompompurin Edition. The new wireless headset is built around the look of the beloved golden retriever, continuing the hardware maker's collaboration with the Japanese brand. The device is expected to be sold exclusively through Target, in line with the rest of the current collection. It is listed at $139.99 and joins an established lineup of themed peripherals based on Cinnamoroll, Hello Kitty, and Kuromi. In a departure from the usual cat-ear design, this edition swaps it for Pompompurin's signature floppy ears on the headband. The headset is styled in a soft buttercup color scheme to match the character. It keeps the core specs of the standard Kraken Kitty V2 BT, including TriForce 40mm drivers, Bluetooth connectivity, and Chroma RGB lighting on the earcups that reacts to live streams. This audio release rounds out the wider Razer x Pompompurin accessory collection that launched at Target in July. That collection already includes a keyboard, mouse, mouse mat, and Nintendo Switch 2 skins. The launch comes during a big year for Pompompurin, who is marking his 30th anniversary. He took first place in the 2026 Sanrio Character Ranking with more than seven million votes. The Target listing says the headset is expected to arrive online and in stores from October 2026. Because this headset is expected to be a Target exclusive in the United States, buyers in Somalia and across East Africa who want it will need to use package forwarding services, adding international shipping and customs costs to the $139.99 price.
