Gold Family Agrees to Sell West Ham Stake

Vanessa Gold has confirmed that her family has agreed to sell its West Ham shareholding to a consortium led by former Newcastle co-owner Amanda Staveley and her husband, Mehrdad Ghodoussi. The consortium is headed by PCP Capital Partners in partnership with Ashland Forest Capital Partners. Gold said the process has not yet concluded, but she wanted to be open with supporters about the current position and her intentions. Somali supporters of West Ham can now watch how the agreement concludes and what role the new shareholders may play in the club’s direction.
