GTA 6 PS5 codes have regional restrictions
Rockstar Games says GTA 6 download codes for PlayStation 5 have region-specific redemption rules. A code bought for another market cannot be redeemed on a PSN account set to a different region. The policy covers the UK, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, North America and other listed market groups. Metro reports that Japan's codes expire 170 days after issue because of regional regulations. Xbox Series X|S codes are not region locked. Rockstar says eligible pre-orders can preload from November 12 before GTA 6's scheduled November 19, 2026 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Why it matters for Somali readers: Anyone buying GTA 6 digitally outside their own market should check that the code and their PlayStation account use the same region before paying.
