Valorant is won with brain and aim in equal parts. Great aim with no strategy loses. Great strategy with no aim loses too. Build both, a little every day.
Crosshair placement: head height, always
The biggest new-player mistake is holding the crosshair at the floor or wall. Keep it at head height, where an enemy head will appear. This single habit is worth more than 100 hours of aim trainers.
Learn one agent before you collect them
Pick one agent and learn the role completely: the abilities, the basic lineups, and the timing. A player who knows one agent deeply is worth more to a team than someone who half-knows five.
The economy is a team decision
Buying, saving, and forcing are team decisions, not personal ones. If the team is on eco, do not solo-buy. Play eco rounds together; even a lost eco protects the money for a proper full buy next round.
Watch your own VODs and hunt your mistakes
Once a week, rewatch one match you lost. Skip your highlights; study your deaths and ask: where was I standing, what was I watching, what information did I ignore? That is where improvement actually lives.
