FC 25
FC is won with control and patience, not sprint and hope. This guide focuses on the three things that separate divisions: defending, build-up, and the few skill moves that actually matter.
Defend with jockey, not sprint-tackle
Hold jockey (L2/LT) and mirror the attacker instead of diving in. A missed lunge is an open goal. Be patient, cut the angle, and only commit when the ball leaves the attacker's foot.
Build-up: move the ball, not just the player
Short, quick passing pulls defences apart. Trigger runs (L1/LB) to create space, and stop replaying the same sprint down the right wing; every defender has seen it. The best attacks start through the middle.
Four skill moves are enough
Learn the ball roll, croqueta, stepover, and drag back properly. They work every year against every defence. The flashy five-star chains lose possession more often than they create goals.
